Cours Project Scheduling : The PMI® Framework
Objectif
This 32 hours seminar is based on PMI®’s “Practice Standard for Scheduling” and constitutes the minimal education requirements for the “Scheduling Professional” certification (PMISPP®) issued by the PMI® but is not specifically designed as a PMI-SP® Exam Preparation Course, even if the examination takes an important part of it. It covers the project schedule management context, the Schedule Development Process, Schedule Model, Scheduling Components and the application of good practices in an operational context. In addition, to ensure better chances of success for participants who will apply for the PMI-SP certification, we will also cover related Knowledge Areas described in PMI®’s “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge” 4th Ed. (an ANSI Standard).
- Develop and enhance the contributions you make to your organization by being able to:
- Demonstrate understanding of the fundamental knowledge,processes, and terminology as defined in the Practice Standard for Scheduling, the standard of project scheduling good practices
- Comprehend the contribution required to a project team as a subject matter expert and may also serve as a sponsor, facilitator, liaison, or coordinator in the area of Time Management
- Understand how to assume full or partial responsibility for individual project time management tasks in their areas of expertise (e.g., finance, marketing, legal), which may not be industry-specific, but relevant across many functional areas and industries.
Pré-requis
- A good knowledge and understanding of Project Management,ideally through the PMBOK Guide®.
- Ideally, being already certified PMP® or CAPM®, or any other Project Management similar credential
