Skills assessment
A computer skills assessment allows the identification of a person's computer training needs by determining:
- The current knowledge and skills;
- The professional objectives;
- The needs of the market or the company.
The assessments are typically carried out for "technical" profiles (systems, databases, programming, Internet, etc.) but it is quite possible to set up such an assessment in the area of office automation.
The assessment consists of two stages:
- A two-hour interview.
- A practical assessment day lasting six hours.
The assessment day is optional and the decision is up to the adviser, on prior notice from Altran Education Services. The practical assessment day and the interview are carried out in our centres (see location plans below). The interview can be done outside of our centres but in premises provided by the client (no computer needed).
At the end of the assessment process, a report is sent to the adviser, with the professional prospects and a possible training plan.
